Celebration of TuBiShvat

10/18/2011

Members of the Committee were invited by the Jewish community to a celebration of TuBiShvat, the  festival is known as the Festival of Trees which is the beginning of the agricultural year in Israel. Archbishop Conti brought the traditional gift of fruit which he presented to Rabbi Ruben, some of which was then cut up to be eaten at the light supper prepared by Scottish Council of Jewish Communities.
